Depend... some games by the day of the annunced, some games after 1/2 years...

There have been a few games that I have a hard time sitting around for. Most recent one is probably Xenoblade X since I've been excited for it since its announcement.

I can wait as long as necessary. I usually wait a few months after the game is released to buy it, when I find it at a decent discount.
Witcher looks interesting, and after I found out it has a Casual difficulty, I decided to pick it up, whenever I can find it under 25€.
20-25€ is my upper limit for any game.

I never get impatient, I just get more and more hyped and basically will talk about anything if it involves the game due to excitment. Similar to how I am now for the witcher 3. My girlfriend has just sent me a picture on my phone of all the ps4 witcher games that have been delivered to the shop she works at! Really teasing me knowing I won't have it till tomorrow once I've finished work.

I know that I got extremely impatient for months for Super Smash Bros. Brawl to be released.

The fact that that game got delayed several times didn't help either.

I get impatient when it's March and I expect a game to release in November and then the producer comes out and says the game is delayed and will not be shown at E3. That's when I get impatient.

I'm starting to get impatient with Splatoon. I thinkt that's largely down to the testfire. That little bitesized demo, made waiting for it that much more exasperating. I actually wish it was the weekend already, just so I could play an hour of Splatoon.
My strategy of distraction is to get as much work done as humanly possible in the next two weeks so I actually have time to play it once it's out.

I am like that with a lot of games, but something about game you want....ahhh I cannot wait.

Around 3 years ago I used to be mildly impatient, nowdays I'm pretty patient since most releases don't always show the game in a complete state and end up needing loads of patches to sort the games out, that said I wasn't really all that thrilled with waiting a lengthy time for GTA V, I then discovered my patience only goes so far and waiting that long while having to pay full price was not worth it (friends goaded me and I wanted to play with them).

Can't say I'm impatient to play Witcher 3 though, my hype has practically been shattered which means I no longer need to pick the game up on day 1 or week 1-5, I'll just pick it up when it's cheaper down the road and much more stable, I'm in no hurry to play it like I thought I once was.
