Trailer was really awesome, but I thought they would tell us what they want to show at E3.

Well, that's what E3 is for. Also, with that video, I'm thinking we'll see something Punch Out related.

Also, will they do something like The Wizard and make a big announcement during thhe finals of the championship?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

If its a big multiplayer experience championship, could be a good excuse to let a tonne of people play Devil's Third multiplayer

Not bad

I'm glad they're keeping the format of E3 2014. Treehouse and Digital Event were amazing! What we don't now is which games are going to make an appearance in the World Championships event. Back in 1990 the cartridge gamers played include Super Mario Bros., Tetris and Rad Racer...

Why can't we all love Nintendo?

Dang I was hoping we could download E3 demo on our Wii U.

Also, I really thought the tournament this year would be Splatoon one. A Nintendo World Championship is an interesting idea though. I wonder what games will be featured.

Kinda lame how they're not doing a stage presentation again.

Brilliant...but as someone who wasn't alive 25 years ago, what exactly is the Nintendo World Championships?

Thanks for making me feel old. That's...cool.

It is, or at least was, a tournament featuring snippets of three games. Players had about six minutes to rack up the highest score across the three. IF you've ever seen the movie The Wizard, it's the same idea, but with a pre-made custom cartridge (which has gone on to be worth an obscene amount for the collectors' market).

Sidenote: if you haven't seen The Wizard, count your blessings.

What was wrong with last year's?

I believe the general concensus that Nintendo won last years E3 would hint that nothing is wrong. Maybe he wants to hear people clapping in the audience I guess? (Which people do whether the announcement was absolutely terrible or not. For examples watch Square Enix FFVII troll and Microsoft's Xbone E3 reveal.)
