Lets just hope NX is innovative enough but has the raw power to compete with the big two to get the 3rd party games. :)

My biggest concern with NX isn't the horsepower or the controller, it's whether they'll pull their head out of sand and start making the games that gamers want.

You mean more amiibos? Or more spin offs? Or insults to the franchise? It's gotta be one of those.

Yeah the hardware is irrelevant as long as it's not intrusive. Only the games matter, and holy shit does Nintendo need to make up for lost time on that front. All these low quality, low content, asset reusing or just plain terrible games they've been putting out lately better be leading up to something huge.

See my concern is marketing first and foremost.  The Wii U's exclusive lineup isn't perfect but let's not deny the quality and variety on display.  But all of that means precisely dick if there's no marketing.  And until Nintendo fixes that it won't matter what they make it will. not. sell.  Nintendo needs to wakeup and realize that to make money and to build up their peripheral franchises they have got to SPEND MONEY.  

As for controllers, I think the gamepad has far more longevity appeal than the Wiimote ever did since it is augmentation that enhances without degrading the original experience.  With streamlined features (the front facing camera and sizable speakers are completely pointless and just take space), slightly smaller screen, and a more ergonomic design would make the GamePad an excellent main controller that opens the door to new experiences but also enhancements to standard ones.  Unfortunately I doubt Nintendo will follow through.

Miitomo Launches March 17th in Japan

Seriously I want Nintendo to start putting Online Multiplayer into more of their games!

- Mario Party Online!

- Nintendo Land Online!

- Pikmin Online! (Each player has 1 type of pkmin, and they haveto work together to achieve the goal)

- NSMB Online! 

Because Online Multiplayer is enough to put more hours to the game.

Still no thread! Guess I'll reply here. We already have similar devices for PC and mobile.

For PC there was Leap a few year ago, saw in in shops afterwards and it worked okay.

On the mobile side we have Google's Project Soli, which uses mini-radar technology.
