PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Way lower than last generation

Wii - ~100 million to Wii U - ~20 million
360 - ~90 million to X1 - ~50 million
PS3 - ~90 million to PS4 - ~ 115 million

Total - ~280 million to ~185 million

This is under the assumption that total console sales for this generation will follow 6 year model.

After that, i expect a 7,000,000 for 2016, for a total of 25,500,000, 4,500,000 in 2017, and we have 30,000,000 sold... XB720 released in 2018 is my bet. So, other 2,000,000 in 2018, and other 1/2 million after that.

I have my prediction at 35,000,000, i write 30,000,000 for round the numbers.

@ bolded - where are you getting that from? VGC has it up 284k over last year. Halo 5 and another holiday of aggressive bundling should see it up significantly on last year.

And you use VGChartz numbers?

NPD: 660,000 in 2015, 710,000 in 2014...

VGChartz have XBO confirmed overtracked in the US, according to VGC, XBO is at 227,000 in 4 week, when NPD say 233,000... Maybe XBO have sold 6,000 last week?

If not, ovvertracked... if is... well, after this massive dropped, i doubt can reach even 3,000,000 this year. :P

Any way, not only XBO is overtracked in 2015, but is also undertracked in 2014... +100,000 undertracked only in the US according to NPD...

Also, not only NPD, but even the MS shipment are lower than last year for XBO, around 1,200,000 last year VS 1,100,000 this year.

 

So, doesn't matter what VGChartz say, all source (NPD, MS shipment, ecc) say that XBO is down... and that is.

XBO will be lucky if will sell like last year, my 8,000,000 is also too much octimist.

PS4 about 80mn, X1 about 55mn and WiiU about 20mn so a little more than half of Gen 7.
