Koei Tecmo have stated in their latest annual report that sales of Wii U exclusive Hyrule Warriors have exceeded 1 million units. Hyrule Warriors was a huge success worldwide for Koei and Nintendo allowing the musou series to be expanded across a different platform to a new audience. Only 130,000 units were sold in Japan meaning that the overwhelming majority of game sales came from the USA and Europe. Koei noted that the game as well as its download contents is still selling at a good rate. 

I need to get it eventually.

Its probably the most value for money I've had for a video game, it's full of content even before DLC is considered.

The game is packed full with easily over 100+ hours of content. It is a blast to play. Especially with a family member or friend. That is one of my favorite features honestly.

KT just had their financial reports and so reports are popping back up.

Haven't spent much time diving into it. DOA5:LR did 300k+ and Samurai Warriors 4-II did ~200k.

Was that shipped though?? this latest news sounds like actual sales, but i could be wrong.

They;re just repeating the number in their latest financials.
