http://ps3.ign.com/articles/858/858436p1.html Posting from my iPhone so I can't quote the article, but it says , "While the sales focus is on European and North American markets, the company is aiming for sales of one million in Japan alone." Thoughts? Do you think their expectations are optimistic? The article also talks about Kojima working on another game.

Wont happen, has any MGS game sold 1M in japan alone?

so what's the big deal? They will ship 1 million in Japan LT. I don't see any problem with that.

I predict about 600K first week, 850K first month. and 1 million first year.

hmmm....i checked the other games and not one has been able to break the mill mark in japan...but if they bundle it, and hype it up it could do it

The big deal is that no Metal Gear game has ever sold 1 million in Japan alone.

MSG4 is one of the most hyped games to come out this year and is arguably the game that will get gamers who were previously hesitant to buy a PS3 before to finally drop the cash to get one just for this game
