Halo 4 is just a completely amazing game. 343i seems to be very good at storytelling and it ill hopefully continue with Halo 5 Guardians. And yes, it is Locke in Halo 2 :).

Halo MCC is the reason I don't have an Xbox One.

too bad you did not enjoy these games when they were actually amazing. Back in the early 2000s when Halo 2 came out it was a technical marvel. It's online blew away everything else at that time. Halo 2 began the online era for consoles.

I think it is bittersweet it took until a point the when series is at a low point for you to finally catch on to it.

My point is, if it impressed you now imagine what it would have felt like to play this over 10 years ago, before CoD4.

Halo 5 beta sealed the deal for me

He likes halo 4 more than the original trilogy. So halo isn't at a low point for him at all. Same as me. Halo 5 I'd the only halo game I've been excited for. 

I Love halo so much when it came out played 1,2,3,4 in order loved them.

Halo 4 is a really really good game. I see why old school fans dont like the MP. I know that the story overall is a little flat, though much better told than Bungie ever did. I'd have loved more wide areas like in former Halo games.

The one and only letdown though for me was the music. It's good, but it's not as great as the classic Halo soundtrack.

By the way, i found legendary to be the easiest in Reach. Haven't finished Halo 3 on legendary yet. Maybe with the MCC.

The first game is quite poor but the rest are amazing, I had a blast playing Halo: Reach and 4 on my friends 360.

I actually think it's funny. It's something i hear over and over again. A few months ago someone told me i was totally wrong and Halo CE would be the hardest, which i think is way easier than Halo 2 on legendary.
