I can't tell if the people saying "XCX has no chance at GOTY because of this" are serious...

The Western reviews just aren't as strict as Famitsu. It is known.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles China has a 68 meta, lol. Let's see if XCX can do better.

Also Xenogears got a 31, and Xenosaga Ep III a 33. Xenoblade Chronicles > Xenogears and Xenosaga Ep III CONFIRMED!

It's probably best to let people think what they want. There are some people here who are looking for any excuse to say things like this, so just let them. People saying this won't hinder your enoyment of the game. 

 

My initial thoughts when seeing the score was relief that it didn't get a bad score. Probably why I was quite surprised to see the comments.
