Genre, production value, reviewer, and a lot of other factors affect the score.

I read what you say the same as if you said "New Super Mario Bros Wii is a better puzzle game than P & D. Because it scored higher". See how that works?

So you're saying we can't compare different genres? We can't say GTA V is a much better game than Sonic Boom?

Sonic Boom is broken while GTA V isn't, so... yeah.

Yes, we can. That's still subjective and up to the reviewer. If someone thinks that P&D is a better game than XCX, what's wrong with that?

Are you trying to say that XCX is a better game than P&D despite not having played XCX?

Yep.

I love exploring huge open worlds. I know the resume of the developers behind this game. And I've seen plenty of footage from it.

I see... Thanks for making this quoatble.

Ever played a game series that had a very good track record, yet faltered somewhere along the way? Were you saying they were good still, or were you allowing yourself to be objective?

This comment of yours certainly makes it clear that no one should put credibility in what you have to say and that you're sold on things from hype alone and pass final judgment based.

Again, thank you.

And thank you for making it clear for everyone else.

Well I dont know about the Samus thing but I have played a game series that faltered in the middle. Ratchet and Clank All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault *shivers*

Yeah, have you looked at P&D? Plenty of games like that are free.

I can decide based on footage alone what game I'm going to like and what game I'm not going to like.

Do you need to have played Sonic Boom to know it's worse than GTA V? Of course not.

And no, I have never played a bad game from a franchise I liked. That was made by the same developer of course. ;)

Who knew people cared about Famitsu so much

It's a Japanese magazine whose scores don't match Western ones. Not even considering that it's 4 reviewers against many, many, many more.

I say, once again, wait for the reviews from here.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

So, you can decide which game interests you and which one doesn't. Good.

Why complain about Famitsu doing the same? Must everyone think the same as you? Are they allowed to form an informed opinion about games too? Or would you prefer if they'd do like you, and form an opinion based on hearsay and videos they watched?

Because I doubt their motives behind their reasoning.

And the world would be a better place if everyone thought like me. ;)

What kind of motive do you think they have here?

The game scored quite high. So I don't see why you're complaining about them here. Come back once you've played the game. two of the Famitsu reviewers scored the game a 9 out of 10. And the two others scored it 8 out of 10. If they're not good scores, I don't know what is.

And, you do realise that it's certainly not the same reviewers that scored all the games from that issue, right?

I've read some of their translated reviews in the past. It's always poorly written and incredibly shallow and short. Not even a review really.

If they employ more than 4 people for that than they're doing something wrong.

Not complaining about the score. Complaining about mediocre games like Assasins Creed: China getting such high scores. Their motives are money of course. And they seem like huge fanboys over Final Fantasy.
