Who knew people cared about Famitsu so much

It's a Japanese magazine whose scores don't match Western ones. Not even considering that it's 4 reviewers against many, many, many more.

I say, once again, wait for the reviews from here.

Oh I know, I just find most of what is being said amusing.

Holy hell this thread.

Anyway, long and too many cutscenes huh? well it's basically the same as Xenoblade minus the long part. I love that game but seriously...it has some of the most pointless cutscenes in modern gaming.

Nintendo and PC gamer

FYI gave Persona 4 a 33 and Sonic 06 a 30 so they by far should never be the end all be all of review scores.

Wasnt aware of that 8 and 9s were bad reviews :P

I see someone translated the highlights of the XCX review... we should get that more often, wanted to see what were the highlights of last week's Neptunia review

Yep.

I love exploring huge open worlds. I know the resume of the developers behind this game. And I've seen plenty of footage from it.

I see... Thanks for making this quoatble.

Ever played a game series that had a very good track record, yet faltered somewhere along the way? Were you saying they were good still, or were you allowing yourself to be objective?

This comment of yours certainly makes it clear that no one should put credibility in what you have to say and that you're sold on things from hype alone and pass final judgment based.

Again, thank you.

If you think he doesnt have a point, you are mistaken. There is no reason to think XBX will be anything short of awesome. The whole Xenoblade recipe is there and we know it works. This isnt a western company hyping up a piece of **** game without showing any gameplay and asking you to pre-order.

This game has had extensive playthrough sessions at last E3. Yes, anyone can clearly tell how bad this game wont be from that. Anything above is the only option. If an hour long of gameplay isnt enough to tell you how this game will be, i dont know what is, because it can only get better as more features and story gets added.

It's weird how game scores skew these days, we've almost gotten to the point where an 8/10 is considered a bad score. (Or in this case, an 8.5) I find it easier to just ignore numerical scores and judge based on watching uncut gameplay.

Let me correct you: We HAVE gotten to the point where 8 out of 10 is considered a bad score.

I don't think anyone considers it a bad score, just not as high as expectations are.

Do not let them decieve you. It's a puzzle game with RPG elements. Think like Pokemon character raising with Bejeweled gameplay.
