My complaint with NSMBU is it is incredibly easy, and DKC is a full priced game that was too short.  Nintendo fans dont get this, but in order to 100% any game you would have to get 100% trophies/achievements.  Yes some games have bonus content, Bloodborne would be a good example.  But unlike Mario, Bloodborne is actually enjoyable without going out of your way and finding all the bonus content

Well if we're staying off topic, after playing the umpteenth Mario game and DK TF, Ori has been an breathe of fresh air.

Great review Jay, haven't played Ori yet personally but I only hear praise for the game. (Excluding fanboys that is)

Considering I gave DKC:TF a 8.2 and Returns an 8.8 you can say i enjoyed them


Rayman itself i feel is the pinnacle of platforming right now.

Yeah, Rayman for me has been something incredible in terms of the level design and tight controls; coupled with the later challenges that flex your reflexes. Hope we see more from both Rayman and Ori.
