The only thing XCX has is boring fetch quests so I wouldn't say it's a $150 game even if it had 3.000.000 of those quests. You have to take into account the quality of the content.

Yes, "boring fetch quests" were all that were required for chronicles to be nominated for GotY half a decade ago. :p

I seriously doubt X will be a boring game... 

The game you put in the title has the least chance of winning, which is interesting. That is, excepting Splatoon, which has no chance. Japanese RPGs have very little shot. Even Persona 5, which will probably score around the 90 mark on Metacritic, will probably only win a couple GOTY awards from RPG-centric websites.

Plus I don't think the story-writer of XCX will have only fetch quests, and is highly unlikely. So don't say things without evidence.

XCX is a sequel so you can expect more (and similar) content than the last game. If the original is to go by then I'm pretty sure the amount of fetch quests will go from 1.000 to at least 100.000 to fill those 300 hours they talk about.

XCX definitely has the presentation going for it.

Witcher 3 has it on lock...

Xenoblade really looks like the best game of this year. There´s no other game that looks more exciting than this, everything is mindblowing.

Splatoon has little chances to be a contender, is not impossible though. It will win some gotys on some other category, like Mario Kart 8.

It will be funny to see people rage when the game comes out and it turns out to be it isn't as great as we all thought.

I'm calling it now by the way.
