Well like I said to everyone, time will tell, but I rather be pleasantly surprised (which I doubt I will be) than be disappointed heavily (which I really think will happen to a lot of people). Given a lot of you by that time won't be here. So not like this even matters.

Hardware wise/controller wise and the online + indies/Apps make the PS4 way better than PS2...

Gameswise PS4 is lacking for me.

The first year of PS4 the only game that  I felt deserves every PS4 owner's money is Infamous second son....In its second year you must Add bloodborne to the list and the rest of this year so far looks rather weak in my opinion and I really hope we get Ratchet and Clank...Lot of games bought this generation likt GTA/BF4/rayman legends/FF type 0 are time killers and I would not have bought (again) if their were more amazing games released...

Ps2 first year was considered weak and it was (especially compared to the years after it) but still had some great games and games that were worth to get...

Think Games like SSX/rayman 2 revolution (a very good updated port)/bouncer/Timespliters/kessen/ Dynasty Warrios 2 (okay this one is for me great)
 Tekken Tag Tournament/Wacky Racers/onimusha/Zone of the enders/Red Faction/Twisted Metal Black/Ico/Klonoa 2/ and probably others I forgot..;(and no that fire work game was not that great).

it's second year the PS2 was a beast gameswise with games as:

Devil May Cry/GTA3/Ace Combat 4/Tony Hawk 3/burnout/SSX tricky (god I loved that one)/MGS 2/Buldar's gate/Jax and Daxter/Max Payne/FFX/ 
Rez/VF4/Medal of Honor/Wipeout Fusion/Sly Cooper/Grandia/ Ratchet and Clank etc...

I remember the PS2 as the PS one and X360 consoles were I very early in those generations was counting down days for games I was so looking forward to...This generation I only counted the days for bloodborne :s
