Of course I know him. I'm just surprised he is ranting about his paycheck from Nintendo because AJ rarely makes videos about Nintendo. This is not affecting him. I would've loved if he tackled FAR MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES that is affecting everybody, not just himself.  The way Nintendo handles Amiibo and the store exclusivities, the fact they still dont have a online ecosystem, region locking etc. There are more pressing matters at hand which affects millions than a few individuals unable to earn Nintendo money.

And yes, I dont think people who want to make playing videogames their livelihood to be productive members of society. You should play games out of love for games, not force yourself to go through whatever just came out and is most popular and guaranteed to get you some penny.

This post is about as misinformed as it can possibly get. Joe could purchase a Wii U but never did so because of the policies he's talking about now. His fans begged him to play the console so they donanted via Twitch streams. Hilariously, like the greedy company Nintendo is they proved him right.

Nintendo already gouges their fans enough with the $60 titles that never drop in price, the plastic toys, and the hundred different versions of a console that no one can properly name because of the variations. However, they still need more money. They are out of touch and i'm glad youtubers like Joe are finally calling them out. Nintendo doesn't deserve free passes because they're Nintendo.

The absolute hilarious thing is that this video will attract more hits than his previous two vids combined. So GG Nintendo.

You serious about this? This isn't really the thread to get into this, but Nintendo is also one of the few companies to release games at variable prices (releasing numerous 40$ games), they consistently have the cheapest hardware, last gen, they were the only company to have the base price for games at 50$, they have mostly been praised for their DLC practices etc..

Your complaints are petty at best and laughable in the grand scheme of things...

Do people like you really only see what they want to see, I seen just as many people shitting on nintendo, as the ones that are defending nintendo. 

These are the same exact topics he spoke about in the video IN THE THREAD ABOUT THE VIDEO.

Plus i'll call you out and say the above is bull. They price lower (Yes that's true) but they hardly ever drop in price. Most titles from any other company hit $20 in 6 months to a year but look around and you'll see Wind Waker HD (year and a half ago) at full price.

For those of you trying to make this about the money, you're right.

Because it is his job.

If you went to work one day, and your boss asked if you wanted to be paid significantly less to start working on another project, you'd probably say no.

It's the same here, but worse. Because if Joe and others on YouTube start signaling that this is an acceptable thing to do, then other publishers will start doing it. And while some may be naive enough to believe Nintendo will only use their new-found powers for good, we all know other publishers would exploit it.

Some of you may not like the idea that someone can have this kind of job, and that's fine. But recognize that the same environment that allows his occupation to exist is also what allows sites like this to exist.
