snake in brawl was okay, when mgs was exclusive to ps. didnt see anyone complain with that.

That's because Snake was third party.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Nintendo and MS should just strike a deal.

Nintendo agrees to port its iOS/Anroid titles to Windows Phone (DeNA can do it).

Nintendo gets Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, Conker, etc. on Virtual Console. MS also gets rights to then put GoldenEye on their XBLA service.

Minecraft for both home and portable NX platforms.

Halo Online, Banjo-Kazooie, and other Rare IP for portable NX only. MS doesn't have a dedicated portable, so it's not direct competition, any more than Halo on PC is competition for the XBox. MS has made products for Nintendo portables in the past ... Banjo-Pilot, Viva Pinata, Halo DS was even demoed at one point.

Pretty sure that Activision owns the rights to publish all James Bond games, so I don't think they can get Goldeneye.

Actually no one has the rights to the Bond license anymore (in terms of games). Activision let the rights lapse because they already have COD and Destiny.

MGS was exclusive to PS in some ways but no, MGS1 was remade exclusively on the Gamecube in 2004. So yeah, they had attachments with Nintendo.

that game came out YEARS before brawl though and we wouldnt see another MG game on a Ninty system till 3ds and i highly doubt that game was even a thought when they were putting Snake in Brawl.

They won't do it, because it would promote a series Nintendo no longer has the rights to. They'd be paying to advertise Microsofts games.

why are you assuming they would pay? Maybe MS will pay. Maybe no money will be exchanged.

Seriously, Nintendo wouldn't pay anybody to put them in their SSB game, its more of an honor for you (the third party rep) to be even considered.

Kojima begged Sakurai for Snake, Sega was like pls make Sonic popular, Namco helped on the games but they were like take Pacman pls (Pacman is in Wonderland right now, worse off than Sonic currently), and Megaman...... Yeah Capcom didnt know what to do with him, but Sakurai apparently did. :)

All jokes aside, Many devs would love to have their character(s) in SSB, Nintendo wont need to pay for anyone.

I think Nintendo's roster is big enough, they don't need to buy any fighters.

I don't think Nintendo will put him in there because really it would be free advertising for Microsoft. Now if only Microsoft gave Nintendo the rights to Banjo Kazooie..

Buy Fighters? Nintendo doesn't need to buy from anyone bro! Companies would be lucky enough just to be even ask the chance to have their character to be on SSB roster :)
