I am contempt with a remaster, so long as it fixes any issues the original had while improving on specific aspects of the game (i.e. The Last Of Us Remastered).

i got a problem with it b/c yeah your right its 10th anniversary they should do something, well do it right remaster all of them like the MCC

some of the games you listed get a pass b/c they released in the first yr of this gen this time always has a weak SW lineup so next gen owners can have somethin more to play also i myself saw gta5 and a few others being re released a mile away and stayed away from them last gen

none of the games you listed have solid release dates yet and barring NMS the other 3 look mediocre at least to me

dont really care about gow3R am a ps4 owner and have supported PS on this site for over 7 yrs but i havent played any of the gow games and if i wanted to it would be nice to have em all remastered come this july

Because its a shitty remaster made with laziness. I don't have any problem at all with it because no one makes me buy it, and i understand there is some people that might want to buy it because they didn't play gow 3 back on it's day or they just loved the game.

But being remasters out there like the masterchief collection or even remakes like the majora's mask one i would be ashamed to release a ps3 game with only a resolution and framerate update if i was Sony. And they even have the balls to charge it at full price.

You're looking at it way to black and white.

The original games aren't always art over business and the remakes aren't just cash grabs. 

Hmm, I got no problem with it. Though if you`re gonna introduce a series to new people who missed out, why start at 3? Who starts anything in the middle of it...? (Except people who don`t want to bother with the beginning? ; ) ) I guess having the trilogy on the PS4 would make sense and be a better package.

As for the other remasters, it kind of irks me that games a year or 2 old are getting remasters when they are readily available, and justify them with the same "New audiences can experience these great games on the PS4". Yeah, I get that, and makes sense. Though I can`t help but feel that could have been remedied by a little something known as BC... B^ ), or do what Ninten did with their small Wii selection. Have the game available at a cheaper price. I`m cool with that.

God of Ware Collection came out 3 years after PS3 launch.

There's a long time to go to get more games, or prices to drop.  GoW 1 & 2 are two generations old now so even if they were all bundled, as well as the Vita games, they wouldn't exactly look very good on a PS4 and interest would be lower than so many years ago.

Really getting a PS3 version of GoW 3 converted to PS4 is superior to getting any PS2/Vita games.  What I hear complaints about is not so much why are we getting GoW III remastered, but why is it $40 when they can get a much better deal on PS3, but this is missing the point - when GoW Collection was released on PS3 you could also get those games on a PS2 for next to nothing.  Also in time we'll be able to get this GoW III on PS4 for next to nothing too.

I actually really want to play GoW III on PS4. It was already damn impressive on PS3, and a higher resolution and framerate can only do wonders for it. But Sony and Santa Monica are out of their goddamn minds if they think I'm spending $40 on that.

I'll wait for a sale.

Also, yeah, GoW1/2/GoS/CoO have aged. Thats the whole point of a remaster, bringing them up to date... Thats why we want them remastered in the first place.

I think your history of prices is a little off. God of war 2 was less then 3 when it came to the ps3(it launched on the ps2 after the ps3 was out) so to get it new you would still be paying the greatest hits price at best and God of war one probably not much better so combined it woulda have been about $40 so same price for the collection but with better graphics/trophies  . But once again, you had the 2 ps2 games in the collection not just God of war 2.

And how is getting a ps4 version of one (of the two) ps3 game better than getting a ps4 version of both ps3 games (3 and ascension) or better yet of all 6? It's not. The mcc had 2 games from the original xbox, ffx and x2 are both ps2 games. Plenty of other remastered games are even older so it's a lame excuse to not include more of the games.

There are no problems, it's just kids with the feeling of rebellion, like if they wanna be a part of something.
It's atleast a very simililare situation though. 

Someone tells them why it's wrong, and whatever they are being told, might sound logical there and then, but they forget that there are so many it other things to consider as well, which aren't being explained. Like new console adaptors, Newcomers, different views of value etc etc, also since there probably will be a new God of war game, i am sure a lot of the newcomers would love to get their hands on the previous games, and 60fps surely doesn't hurt since the remaster will be cheap soon enough.  and everyone time to time, seem to forget that not all games that are being released wasn't aimed for them, if they aren't interested. It's like every single person who ain't getting a game that they want are getting massively butthurted. With variation, there will be a lot of downhills as well as up hills. not all games that comes out will match their taste.

I hate pointless rebellion, which is why i am so happy that i am out of that phase in life.
