I was expecting Sakaguchi. I left dissapointed.

He still has a job, it just isn't a very good one...

He listed Itagaki, which at least works on a console game. I'd consider Sakaguchi's case as worse than that.

Sakaguchi is working in the world of Hip Hop at the moment. Mad respect.

The guy who worked on Sonic is out of a job.....big surprise...

He's not jobless, but it's not a very good one. Director of Rodea the Sky Soldier.

Damnable you Konami! Casrlevania isn't supposed to be a hack and slash! It's supposed to be Metroidvania!

I hate the West.

Sakaguchi....

WHAAAAT Igarashi has no job! Nooooo....that made me sad. Didn't know Yu Suzuki is having trouble, thought he was working on a Shenmue 3 or something. Yuji Naka did it to himself. He had the world at the tip of his fingertips then he leaves after Sonic's Genesis days to leave Sonic to crash n' burn to make Ivy the Kiwi...WTF Naka....W..T...F...

I think part of it is because the Japanese game industry is so different than the rest of the World. Handhelds seem to dominante there compared to consoles in the West. Many of their studios that make AA and AAA games are trying to make games that appeal to the West in order to even survive. I'm not surprised at that list of developers as they are basically casualties of Japan's decline in gaming importance.
