Lord Reggie is saying that Nintendo puts lots of time to think of the names for their products...

I aint believing him, just look at some of the names this gen (consoes and games).

What do you guys think? Did Iwata put his heart and soul into naming the "New 3DS" and the "Wii U"?

Yes. Often times bad decisions stem from over thinking things.

Just because you've put a lot of thought into something doesn't seem your decision is going to be good, often times it can mean the opposite.

At the end of the day all three consoles have terrible names ... Wii, XBox One (really? wasn't there already a XBox 1? And XBox One is better than an XBox 360?), and Playstation (Fisher Price Play Station ... sounds pretty much like a child's toy doesn't it?).

Even DS is about as bland of a name as you can get.

I will wait until we see the name of The Legend of Zelda Wii U.

If Reggie says they do then that's definitely the case!

That would make an awesome thread if it doesn't already exist. Predict the name of the next Zelda.

Wii is a good name imo.

Wii.

Wii.

That's a terrible name. But you know what, it fricking worked. Sometimes it's about the product, not the name. Do you think Microsoft and Sony do any better...really?
