There may be a game with Link in it every year, but no, there isn't a Zelda game every year. Huge difference.
Remakes and spin-offs don't count, so no.
It's one of their most prolific series though.
It's not really annualized, but I can see why you could say that. Recently, there have been a rash of new Zelda games/remakes/spin-offs. So much so that it does almost seem as if we get a new Zelda in some form every year. Now, I wouldn't include games like Animal Crossing: NL as a release in the Zelda series, but I do think the remakes like OoT, WW, & MM should count. Even Hyrule Warriors to me was sort of like getting a new Zelda. Basically, Nintendo's been doing a good job giving us these spin-offs/remakes in between the main-line releases to make it seem as if there are new Zelda games almost every year.
Well if you don't include spin offs then no, right now they way I see it is that they release 2 games ever 2 years. 1 remake and one new title. 2011: SS and Oot 3D. 2013: ALBW and WWH. 2015: Zelda U and MM3D. 2014 had a spin off, but that doesn't count as a full fledged Zelda game. I don't think any Zelda games will launch in 2016. However, I think in 2017 TP HD will be a launch title for the Nintendo fusion

No. I never count remakes. That's just cash ins and no full work is being done. Only the original releases count. Which is why I argue Pokemon isn't annual either.
When I think of annualised series I think of series that gets a brand new mainline entry each year. I don't consider Final Fantasy an annualised series, despite the numerous spin-offs, because you're not getting a new numbered FF game each year. Same with Legend of Zelda.
Counting remakes doesn't make any sense to me, unless we're talking about reimaginations. A remake or remaster or whatever you want to call it is the same old game with a new paintjob. It's not a new game. And what about mere ports, do they count? Because it seems completely idiotic to me that series should get milk points (because let's face it, the far majority of people bring up the amount of entries to downplay games, very rarely is it brought up as a positive) because the developer dared to remake certain parts of the game.

If remakes and spin-offs don't count, then obviously not!

I voted no. We only get one or two Zelda games per console. If this was truly an annualized series, we would be seeing 5 or 6 per console. Just going by your chart, it looks like we get something every other year due to the home console/hand held split.
