Why is Link to the Past primary, but Link Between Worlds secondary?

It seems to me that either both of them are primary, or they must both be secondary.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Thanks for the insights, it seems most of you guys would only consider counting the main games and not the spin-offs and remakes, but those do add to the series and keep it relevant. That's basically agreeing with me, which is good .
