It's not really annualized, but I can see why you could say that. Recently, there have been a rash of new Zelda games/remakes/spin-offs. So much so that it does almost seem as if we get a new Zelda in some form every year. Now, I wouldn't include games like Animal Crossing: NL as a release in the Zelda series, but I do think the remakes like OoT, WW, & MM should count. Even Hyrule Warriors to me was sort of like getting a new Zelda. Basically, Nintendo's been doing a good job giving us these spin-offs/remakes in between the main-line releases to make it seem as if there are new Zelda games almost every year.
