Forums - Gaming - Does Anyone Feel as if Last Generation Graphics Look Blurry And Horrible Now?

Not at all, honestly. Revisiting Bioshock series, Uncharted, Dead Space and a host of others, last gen held up pretty well in the graphics dept. Even newer games like Evil Within and Alien: Isolation on PS3 look pretty good, but yeah next gen is a pretty big leap forward in the graphics dept.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

I'm replaying Demon Souls and I can see it perfectly fine! Maybe it's your vision! Search for a doctor right now, you might need glasses.

I wonder if the people who see no difference are actually playing on a 1080pTV as opposed to a 720p TV (where you'd literally see no change)

720p has always been blurry. Glad we're finally moving on.

I feel that way about any game under 900p. 900p isn't that awesome either.

4 ≈ One

Nope. Quite the opposite. I have been struggling to see the upgrades.

i dont think so at all. Even the PS2 looks good if you can run the games with progressive scan on it. Keep in mind that most 7th gen games were sub HD, MGS4 for example was 1000x600 or something so of course 1080p is a huge improvement on the PS4 for some.

If you get used to the low resolution again, even 480p Wii games can look good.

I barely care about resolution and actually dislike anti aliasing. Low fps is for some genres is another story though, so it depends on the game.

Nope. I can go back and play anything and never care it had lower res than what's standard. It's an annoying cycle. Because stuff you think is the norm now, will be blurry when the next standard becomes the norm. Rinse and repeat. Got tired and went WHO CARES.

Not really.
