I don't think so. We're too early on this generation for the graphics to be touted as better as the last-gen ones. Honestly, last-gen doesn't look bad... yet. It still holds up pretty well.

| solidpumar said: I always though last gen felt blurry even in 2007-2008, coming from a PC perspective. That is why people really want 1080p this gen, and the 900p shenanigans on some games and WiiU still on 720p makes people angst. |
The Wii U has more 1080p 60 frame games than the PS4 my friend. Anything from Nintendo looks perfect, buttery smooth.
Nope, as long as it's 480p and up, I have no problems (Twilight Princess still looks great)
My suggestion if you now find 720p really blurry, would be to get a better TV.
People really don't seem to understand that the TV is the biggest factor in how older systems look. Yes the textures aren't as crisp etc, but the blurriness is your display not doing a decent job of scaling.
Some games hold up really well others don't. Bioshock infinite doesn't hold up visually. Battlefield 3 look great offline and In coop but the online doesn't hold up that great visually.
Ok you have to be blind not to see the differnce here :P
right click open photo to see the full resolution ofc

My God wtf is wrong with me?I could of swore you said"The Last Guardian".Do I want this game that bad?

So which Wii U games are 1080p and 60 fps?
I can play NES games and still have fun. Sure the graphics on some games (N64, PS1, etc) might not be as good as I remembered (because they seemed amazing to me at the time) but it won't keep me from enjoying a game if it is fun to play.
