This really depends on who decides to bundle.

There will be the normal launch bundles first week for both titles, but it won't make any real difference since where looking at one week so it's not like you can say oh look one bundled it's game for longer than the other , plus first week bundles tend to have a bigger % of buyers who where after the game anyway .

That being said, if there is a cool halo exclusive console that comes with the title...I willl be buying that instead of the standalone title. I think bundles can lower first week sales.

It might look that way when you factor in NPD not counting  bundle sales  but historically that has happened so the numbers will compare with other launches , plus MS usually give out a press release with the fuller figures .
I'm not sure what you mean about  buying the console with halo over just buying the standalone title . because buying the standalone title would infer you allready own the console.

Uncharted 4 will be big.
What about Gran Turismo WW FW sales Tolu? Would like to see it as well.

Well, considering the massive decline of the series with GT6... i don't think that will be bigger than Uncharted imo.

Halo 5 will curbstomp Uncharted. Hands down.

@mjk45

Austhetic modifications. Halo themed bundle or a 1TB+ console bundle. I would deffinatly get the bundle over the standalone title. I did the same for Sunset Overdrive for the living room which is all decked out in white.

So what would you do with the Sunset  Overdrive console, keep it ,  put it on Ebay?

Keep it. I have more than one entertainment system. If I got a Halo or 1TB model, I would just sell my current plain day one Xbox One.

But it is relevant for Uncharted. As the OP showed, launch week went up 500k between 2 and 3. Uncharted is series growing in popularity. Halo is on the decline (just look at the reviews and the user reception of Halo 4). So while Halo may be "install base immune", all that means is that it'll launch to the same numbers. Whereas Uncharted has the potential to increase. And with the PS4 being the runaway market leader and Uncharted easily being Playstation's biggest franchise right now, I wouldn't be surprised if UC4 snuck passed Halo 5 global FW vs Halo US 1st week. And I'm in the boat that says UC4 will outsell Halo 5 LTD as well.

Destiny sold 2.1M FW on PS4 and that was a new IP. You don't think Sony will give a similar push to Uncharted? As a franchise with growing popularity and is established as a quality game? I think the install base disparity will definitely come into play here

The simple counter to Halo's "install base immunity" would be to say that the Halo franchise is waning in popularity. Despite 3 titles being released over a 5 year period of X360 install base growth, no the FW sales stagnated and failed to grow. If we assume that that trend were to continue, it would be a linear decrease, every 3 years (to 2015). In essence, the X360 would have to grow at the rate it did from 07 to 10 and 10 to 12 from 12 to 15, just maintain the 2.4M FW Halo sales. i think it's safe to say that whatever console sales increases that would be necessary to secure those FW game sales has not happened (last gen is waning), but it is also safe to assume that the X1 install base is nowhere near what the X360 would have to be to secure 2.4M FW sales for Halo 5. If you oversimplify the math, it would take anout ~55-60M X1 users to maintain the trend. If you reapply those simple calculations, the X1 has sold 10% of the consoles necessary to hit 2.4M with Halo 5 in week 1 (It's on "pace" for 240,000 for week 1, using the formula.). Halo 5 will sell more than 250,000 copies FW in the US, but this shows that the signifigance of the historical sales data lends itself to smaller expected debut.

PS4's install base is not larger than PS3's at the time Uncharted 3 launched, which had the biggest launch of the 3 PS3 games. The dynamics are very different for Uncharted in that the series saw increasing launch sales with each successive game, unlike Halo where things were completely flat regardless of install base. However I think factoring in the popularity of Uncharted and the reputation of ND you can expect a better launch week from UC4 despite the lower install base compared to UC 3, and potentially even UC2. So I think UC4 can get something between 1.5 and 2 million at launch, but Halo 5 should do over 2 million in the USA.

yes it is

What's that got to do with anything? If you are looking to compare with UC 2 and 3 launch sales the PS3 install base at the same point in the cycle  as PS4 is at now (which is more like when UC:DF launched) is irrelevant. If install base is a factor in launch week sales for Uncharted then you look at Install base when a game releases/released. If install base is not a factor in launch week sales for UC then looking at install base at any point is irrelevant. UC4 will likely launch to a similar install base as UC2. If UC4 doubles UC2 launch numbers that will represent significant growth, but it will still come in short of 2 million. 2 million is the minimum that can be expected for Halo 5 launch in the USA.

Now the installbase doesnt matter to you? you first denied it wasnt bigger than the ps3?

im gonna go with uncharted.

Uncharted might sell more globally 1st week than Halo 5 does in the US. I think Halo will take it just though.

Difficult to say how the Install bases and hype behind the PS4 will affect them. One things for sure though Uncharted 4 will be the biggest Uncharted launch in history. Will Halo 5 be as big a launch as the 3/4? maybe.
