Took them long enough.... it was a stupid policy from the get-go.

Great news. It was a lousy policy that should have been dropped years ago.
Only thing left for them to do is change the name from XB1 to PS4. Amazing how all roads leads to XB adopting some form of PlayStation policies. Does XB have any originality left?
Good news for devs that resented the parity clause.
You cannot force indie developers to favor your console, when you are a distant second place. This policy was developed when MS thought they would be the market leader. I have not idea why it took so long to change.
At least MS seems to be making the right moves recently, after a disastrous start.

Agreed.
Getting the games now, rather than what it was before (never getting them at all) is terrible news for any XBox One owner.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Very good, very cool, very handsome, I like it!
This was one of their worst policies so it's about time it's gone. It's are very vulnerable in this market and should be looked after.

Personally I don't care about indies, but I will play them if they are good though (2 per year maybe). Now can you name 1 indie that was actually good that skipped XB1 becuase of the parity clause?
PS I doubt you find one becuase MSFT would let the good games through the clause.
