I just ask because they released new info a while back and people weren't too happy. It sort of killed the hype which was really high at the time.  I could be totally wrong though. 

What weren`t people happy about? I didn`t hear much negativity about it.

If you got the list I could remember.  Off the top of my head it was something to do with lack of online features like voice chat among others.  

Oh right, those. Yeah, those were legit issues. Hmm, that may have brough up concern for the game, but I guess we`ll see how people are towards the game closer to release.

And another thing.  The hype for Xenoblade seems to have taken over it.  Are those games releasing close to eachother?

On the topic, people who have been following Splatoon know that it is more than a shooter, killing the ennemies is one of the tactics to achieve the goal of the game: territory dominance.

technically every shooter game is a ''shooter with colors'' as they use color palettes :D

I'm glad you brought this up. I found myself interested in Splatoon even though I REALLY hate shooters. So I've spent the past few months wondering if Splatoon was different enough to be to my liking. It may be. I'll try it out first, as I have a friend who is certainly buying it. And yes, I do like me my colors.
