You want something over somethingis fine but you as do i have no right to judge this (and some others).

Your basically saying Every Muliplayer > Every Single player game, which we both know isnt true. How would you know Metroid doesn't give you more value for a buck than Resistance if you never played it?

Talking about Value, Metroid Prime Trilogy for $20 on eShop is a ridiculous great offer. It includes one of the most critically praised games of all time with 2 absolutely great sequels in it. 

All im saying is you cant say something off of biased, as why i haven't said Metroid > Resistance because i would be basically saying im biased...

The funny part is Kerotan actually likes The Order (nothing wrong with this) and defended its short length. But now all of a sudden length is important. Not so long ago he said the length of a game had nothing to do with a game being amazing. I know this because he quoted me on this when I was giving Majora's Mask a compliment about its long and engaging singleplayer (37 hours for me).

And then there's still Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid.

Anyway, I find this thread sad. It really just seems like an excuse to start a flame war. The games aren't even similar; there is no point to this.

Metroid is better as it should be after so many entries. Resistance has had 3. Metroid has had what? 7 at least right? So that's over twice as many chances thus the number of good games in the series (which is how I judge normally) is going to be higher. Resistance 3 is my favorite FPS ever though

Metroid without a doubt, metroid is one of the few video game franchises with over 10 games that has a decent average score on all of there games, yes even metroid other M isnt horrible, its okay

Twice as many chances that the games can be bad. ;)

There have been 11 Metroid games, which includes a pinball game and a remake (the best one ever!).

Resistance had 5 games and is basically dead already.

Only resistance game worth a damn is Resistance 3 and that one is mediocre too.

The others are trash trying to be like Halo but failing.

I don't care if there's 100 bad games.  Let me make this clear.  If one series has 100 releases and 5 of them are good, and another has 3 releases and 3 of them are good.  I think the first series is better.  Bad ones don't detract from the greatness of the series as I'll just ignore them.

5 good games may be stretching it though.
