I wouldn't be surprised if there was one, I mean the one released in 2013 still sold over 500k, so there are still people out there that would buy the games. Also the Wii U's userbase would be bigger by the time the next one came out so it could lead to probably better sales.

I still think that we won't see a new Mario announcement for the Wii U anymore.
