Did you see the second paragraph of my post? You know, the one where I said "not really"? I'm not saying the 3DS has a crappy library. I'm not even saying that the 3DS has few worthwhile games. I'm just saying that SK doesn't deserve to be number 8 on that list. For the record I have played the game, which is a much better metric for how much I like it, than how well received it is amongst critics is. It could have 100 on metacritic, but I wouldn't like it more.

I didn't mention anything about how you feel about the game or how you SHOULD feel about the game.  I figured you played it given you think it's mediocre at best.  That doesn't change that, even in your second "paragraph" (is it really a paragraph?) of your post, you still said in it that the 3DS "can't have many worthwhile games."

It may not be a paragraph, but I found no better word for it.

I didn't say that the 3DS can't have many worthwhile games. What I actually said was:

"Not really, but if SK actually is number 8, then the 3DS can't have many worthwhile games."

And if I have to explain this in closer detail then pay attention. If SK is the eighth best game on the 3DS, then the 3DS can't have many worthwhile games. Of course, SK isn't the 8th best 3DS Game (Imo it's not even close) so what you're arguing is kinda... Pointless...

So I do think the 3DS has many great games.

Around the Network

Impressive list in it's own right, but not on DS's level.

Hopefully VLR stays on the list by the end of the gen, fantastic game.

Mario Golf world tour too high up!

Switch!!!

There's no reason to word it like that, since what you say it means isn't the only way it can be interpreted.

The bolded games have absolutely no business in a top 25 list. Really disappointing games that should be forgotten.

Swap in titles like Etrian Odyssey IV and The Millenium Girl, Ace Attorney 5, Professor Layton 5, Mighty Switch Force! 1 and 2, Picross e 1-5, Ridge Racer 3D, Yoshi's New Island, Mario&Luigi: Dream Team Bros., AeternoBlade, Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move, maybe even Mutant Mudds or HarmoKnight.

Seriously, Persona Q over Etrian Odyssey is a sick joke.

I disagree with your opinion, since I actually liked Kid Icarus: Uprising, SMT IV, and Bravely Default.  However, Cave Story and Mario Golf: World Tour I agree with.  Shovel Knight is debatable for me, and I haven't played Persona Q or Fantasy Life so I can't say on those.

But I do think if Persona Q got on the list, why not Etrian Odyssey?  It is pretty disappointing that AA5, and rhythm games didn't make it to the list.  The 3DS has at least 3 good rhythm games.

ORAS didn't make it because it has too much water for IGN. None of their staff can swim, so they're deathly afraid of the stuff.

Anyways, good list otherwise except that bizarre top ten placement of Mario Golf. Really mediocre game.
