Kerotan said: Destiny sold like 10 million before prices were cut and it still retails about the same as a new 3DS game. The reason their prices go down is because of insane competition from other games. Nintendo games dont go down because if someone buys a wii u next year or this year chances are they will buy mario kart or smash

And how many weeks did it take to sell 10m? Not that many. And I wouldn't say that it being the price of a handheld game is much of a compliment. Again, this isn't a Nintendo vs everyone thing. Plenty of quality titles don't go down in price because, well...they're quality. Examples include Grand Theft Auto V, the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy, Forza, etc. And yes, Nintendo games, even from years and years ago, like Paper Mario TTYD and Perfect Dark, still go for full retail price (sometimes more).
Games like CoD and Destiny have to lower their price in order to remain competitive, because the spotlight fades quickly in that genre and if you're not the newest, shiniest experience, then you're out. There was a similar issue with platformers on the NES and SNES.
