Does a budget make a game inherently bigger/better? If I go outside and dump all the money in my wallet into a puddle of mudd, is that money better off than had I spent just $1 on a candy bar and saved the rest? Nintendo is extremely conservative with their budgets, but it doesn't show in their big games. |
There is a reason to why nintendo's has barely lost any money. These other companies screw up when it comes to budgets while nintendo doesn't .a Bigger budget game fails and the entire company suffers a smaller budget game fails and it can easily be recovered. Most of these compainies that are rich and healthy only need one flop to crash while nintendo would need many many many flops to crash.
