Ready at Dawn is better at creating installments in other franchises than creating a new IP themselves.

RAD themselves have already said they make a mistake in communicating what The Order was prior to release, so there's a mistake right there. Of course, other mistakes:
- Writing a poor story
- Bad game design
I don't get this idea going on now on various forums about how The Order is being punished for being "different" or "trying something new" or being "too cinematic". Didn't Walking Dead win GOTY awards like 2-3 years ago? Didn't LoU win them in 2013? Journey?
The Order fails in execution and design. And most importantly, price. Personally I am glad it bombed critically, my faith in reviewers has been slightly restored. When a developer puts graphics and cinematic experience above gameplay in a video game, I don't want to see them rewarded for that. I am sure the game will sell pretty well though, it was massively hyped, and is on the most popular console.
They have touted a 'filmic experience' from the very day it was revealed and have stuck by that, people surprised that the finished game feels more like a movie are ignoring the fact that it was the fucking point.
Fine that they did what they wanted to do, but I don't think doing something poor is actually good because you meant to do it. It's been abundantly clear that the gameplay looked weak for as long as the game has been public, and it should have been so internally long before that.

Where there no teens and pre-teens back when Lair launched? I also find you view as offensive as people saying that Ninty games are for children.

Nope, they made no mistake.
Are you going to walk up to an artist and say they should not be painting, they should be sculpting instead.
Its their artistic vision and freedom, and if you dont like it, there are plenty of games to choose from.
if you prefer non cinematic game, its your decision to not buy the game as it is theirs to walk that path. not every piece in gaming is liked by everyone, So there are may games devs make and many artistic choices devs make to have a game fit everyone. So I have no doubt you will find a game that caters to your likings eventually. And hopefully its your opinion and just not the mimicry of an opinion of some reviewer.
I'm glad they did their own thing. The industry needs variety
They're a poor man's Naughty Dog. They should just become Naughty Dog's third team and make Vita games.

So having said that,by that definition, that means there is no such thing as a ''bad'' game since games are all developers ''artistic vsions and freedoms''

Strawman point ...
What the developer makes and what they envision usually almost always matches since that's how they intended it to be so calling their intentions as "mistakes" is mostly an oxymoron ...
