Throughout the years fans from different platforms and games have irked me, earliest was probably the COD crowd, then the Xbox groups, last two years was the PC group (PC master race specifically) and most recently this year and part of last would be the Playstation group because of the whole "we're no. 1 and everyone sucks/can't compare", all fanbases can be annoying, I used to be within some for a while but over time I realised it;s better that I distance myself from any of them, being in one means I;d have to be against the other or constantly be at odds within the fanbase, it just sucks that most fanbases can get really pompus and not realise it.

So far, nope! Hopefully this won't change anytime soon!

Xbox fans that believe the Xbox One has some kind of hidden power that will be awaken with DX12 annoys me a lot (luckily they're not on this forum).

Nintendo fans that say that nothing is wrong with the Wii U and that it is not Nintendo's fault it isn't selling well.

Who's fault is it then? Consumers fault for not wanting a console with very low end hardware, that strange controller and no third party support?

Playstation fans that believe that only because the ps4 is selling so well it hasn't got any flaws and they defend things like how poor PSN is compared to Xbox Live now that both require subscription to play (on ps3 PSN didn't work as good as Xbox Live did on 360 but at least ps3's online was free).

Finally the people that believes that is better than the others for playing on PC (or any other platform), PC master race and so as a joke is ok but when you mean it, it is not.

Plenty of times. I refuse to use Apple products, simply because I have two very good friends who will take any opportunity to wax poetic about that company's superiority. The fanbase of certain YouTube channels make me wish they'd remove the comment section (see: most Playstation channel videos). Even if the franchise was less pervasive in pop culture, the Star Wars fandom strike me as obnoxious to the point of wanting nothing to do with it. Some online communities have had me swear off playing the online mode of certain games, but not the single player. The whole PC Master Race thing had me not want to touch PCs for gaming for a long time for some reason.

This is all understandable, people can be toxic at times.

Yeah. I think the Starcraft fanbase is absolutely terrible. I fucking love Starcraft and I love the professional scene. But Jesus Christ, the fanbase blows so much wiener. All anyone ever fucking does is complain about the games imbalances or how shitty Blizzard is. I'm so sick of it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Apple fans... Like the way they try to justify buying an imac over PC is 110% nonsense... A GTX 775M is better than a desktop GTX 970 cause its in an imac? Okay there...
