Played all Jack & Dexter on collection, very good but not ubersome. Played both N64 banjos and they are quite good. It's worthy picking a 64 for then, Mario, zelda and etc.

You definitely need to give the N64 Banjo games a try, specially since you seem to enjoy the original Jak!

I guess I should try it out then, thanks :D.

You're welcome! While you are at it, you should also try Conker 64! It's my favorite Rare game of all time and I think you could enjoy it!

Play both game series. You will love them.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Yes you are going to enjoy Banjo-Kazooie (N64 or XBL).

I'm not the biggest Banjo and Kazooie fan but as a huge Mario 64 fan I love that style of platformer. B&K just didn't pull it off half as well to my mind.

My experience of Jak and Daxter is limited but from what I've played it's a good franchise and has more of its own identity. Whilst B&K was heavily influenced by Mario 64.

Mario 64 is probably the pinnacle of engaging and meaningful exploration in a computer game, I find collecting things in b&k can be a bit boring.

I do welcome this spiritual successor because I want to see more exploration heavy 3d platformers. I just hope they surpass B&K.

Jak 1
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
Jak 2
Jak 3

I like both, but I only want a platformer from either series.

Have to give it up to Banjo. Great series! Played them non-stop on the N64, they were such excellent games.
