they need to reduce the qte's and up the difficulty. Normal mode was even too easy. They should have made it harder. Also they should have stuck with the main story characters. Billy coen needs more love from Capcom.

I agree with both points, specially QTEs! Those have been an issue in the Resi franchise ever since 4!

QTE's an issue? Whats so horribly bad about quick time events?

Havent played this game yet as i have tons of other games to finish first like the evil within for my ps4, but i am pretty sure it doesnt deserve the bad rep it gets.

it doesn't but make sure to start on pro If you want the survival horror feel.

old skool

I bought the PS3 resident evil ultimate pack a few months back. Every single RE game on PSN for one low price. I feel like I got RE6 basically for free with that deal. Pus I bought the REmake for PS4 a week or so ago. I pretty much plan to make my way through all the games over time, but probably focus on the one's I have played in the past: RE1, RE4, RE5, RE6. I've played through about 60% of Code Veronica. But with all sorts of other things to play through it will take me a long time to get up to RE6 I think.

Resident Evil QTE's are almost as good as press x to pay respects.

I mean who didnt laugh at this

Seriously though lets hope the series can reclaim some of its former glory, because RE6 for me was not good.

The biggest problem with RE6 besides lack of polish was too much filler.

The three campaigns should have been a single campaign separated by mission number. Kinda like RE:Revelations. The game felt too long and you would basically see the same levels and bosses multiple times.

There is a decent game in there that needs a lot of fat trimmed.

lack of polish as in graphics?

Graphics and gameplay.

Sometimes the graphics looked great, other times you'd see very muddy textures, clunky animations, etc. Gameplay at times felt unbalanced and there were some very boring periods in the campaign.

I don't hate RE6. I had some fun with it but the game overall is a bit of a mess.

I went into Resi 6 hating it originally, I didn't mind Leon's campaign since it had actual zombies in it, hated Chris's campaign most of the time including Wesker's Son in general, the game wasn't as fun as 5 for me and even then it was still more of an action game and hardly had an ounch of horror for me.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I enjoyed the game for what it was. Leon's campaign was easily the best, with Chris' being far too much action. If it wasn't a resident evil branded game, i really don't think people would give it so much shit. Technically, the game isn't bad, I enjoyed the more action oriented mechanics and some parts were pretty exciting to watch/playthrough. When the 3 teams met up was pretty special for me as well.

Playing RE HD remaster has made me appreciate the older style of RE, I really hope they can find a good mix of survival horror and include the mechanics established after RE4 as well.

Re6 is okay, I'm a fan as well of the series, but RE5 was the most fun I've had in RE to date. The co-op and mercs is still fun to hop on.
