I think getting rid of review scores completely is a mistake. What you should do is take the movie score approach and just give on global score and not break the score down into component parts. And also don't score in increments of less than half a point.

Site traffic is important for the site to be financially viable. Removing review scores will significantly reduce traffic to the reviews IMO.

Well it definitely doesn't take you to the same site that it used to back in '06 or '07, but it does appear someone is squatting on it. There's a page there. Funny thing is, VGCharts.org redirects back to this site...so they didn't buy all the domains related to that brand.
