I don't ignore them but I only play a few. No man's sky is the only indie I've ever looked forward to before release. Most others I've received as free ps plus games and some I've really enjoyed to my surprise.

of course not! some of the best games are indie

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

I look at them as if there AAA games, If its fun il play it. But there is a good number of them that are over hyped, just like AAA games.

I enjoy indie games, I feel alot of them try to draw inspiration from 16 and 8 bit visuals, while creating a story and concept more for today's censorship standards.

WOW! this 8/16 bit game just cussed while showing gratuitous violence in low res glory.
For me, it feels that most indie developers are creating games that they wanted to see when they played games in their youth.

Back then games were more wholesome in the 8 bit era (censorship).  During the 16 bit era, they finally showed blood, ( mortal Kombatl Sword of Sodan) as the gamers got older. so it's a natural progression.

My current favorites: Guacamelee, Max The curse of brotherhood, Abobo's Big Adventure
Ones I do not like: Don't starve, Olli Olli, Resogun ( this game is pretty but, got very boring quick for me)
any free2play game.

i certainly give AAA games more of my attention and time. but some indie games are just amazing and trump a lot of AAA games. game like bastion and to the moon are two of my favorite games of all time. Dont Starve is the most special game on PS4 for me, not my favorite probably, but the most special.

Nope.. If I would ignore indie games then I would miss out on some truly unique and fun games!

Interesting responses, though I would inherently believe those that respond are the ones that naturally play indie games (hence why I added a poll... albeit a somewhat sarcastic one).

Despite us forum-goer internet peoples being a minority, it is nice to see many responses giving respect to indie games, though!

Indie games get talked about quite a lot on this forum. They're never really been ignored here. Though it doesn't seem like you're a regular poster so you must have missed all the conversation.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I ignore everthing that didnt came out in retail, only exception was resi hd rematser and the only official yu gi oh card games

I dislike the indie buzz word, they'll always be digital games for me.
But it is true that when you use indie instead you get more hits.

I make no distinction if it was developed by one or hundreds.
A game is a game.

An indie game to me means a digital treat released for free.

I don't ignore them, but I am less interested in them generally. I prefer longer games with better graphics.

I enjoy the odd game, especially when they are free on PS Plus, but the amount of indie games I am looking forward to is minimal.
