I'm glad the moderation team seems to put so much effort into changing the rules for the better.
However, as far I'm concerned, a rule is as good as its enforcement. Take the safe for work avatars/usernames etc rule. It seems that every year, there is a thread with someone complaining about avatars and signatures becoming too nsfw. Then the mods create a thread and inform everyone that they will be more strict with that, then people remove them for a while, only for everything to go back to what it was a few months later. Then a year later, there is another thread with the same topic, and the whole process happens once again. Also some people are forced to remove nsfw content while others are not. This creates confusion and people not taking the rules seriously. I hope something can happen about this as well as the rest of the rules (i.e. actually be enforced across the board). In my opinion, the more grey areas you have, the worse it becomes and the more unfair the whole process appears to be.
Like the reports about muslims not being treated equally, I also think that there seems to be double standard about certain games. People are allowed to make fun of COD players for being dudebros, but say that x ninty game is for kids and you get banned. I don't see how this is fair (I don't play cod games, but still). Also, sometimes you ban someone for saying that x game is shit and then someone does the same gets away with it (and I'm not talking about cases that people are being sarcastic). Lastly, people get banned for spamming because their post lacks content and then there are tons of posts with a simple "nope", "no", "lolz" or even empty posts in which they quote someone they agree with and add nothing to the discussion and yet they don't even get an official warning.
Anyway, just some thoughts. It's up to you what you wanna do with the forums, but I think a more (at least seemingly) fair treatment would be much appreciated.
