I would love to have one and an entire collection to play arcade perfect ports at home but a single game costs hundreds to thousands of dollars, so that ain't happening anytime soon. TurboGraphx 16 is also a fascinating console, it's such a adorable tiny little console caught between the Genesis and SNES and as a result only really saw success in Japan. It has a lot of cool games on it and it's relatively cheap so I definitely wan to pick one up sometime soon. |
its actually possible to play these games on original hardware without buying the world. There is also the neo geo mvs that you can consolize which has way cheaper neo geo games including multicards with 100 of neo geo games in one cartridge. The neo geo aes can also play neo geo Mvs games with a converter, there are multicard conversions in aes format as well.

Yeah, I am aware of them since a friend of mine has a MVS with multicarts but I want a AES and it's games along for collection purposes. What's nice about the MVS as well is you get the full cabinet so you really do get the arcade experience and as you said the multicarts make it much cheaper in the end.

The multitap games are awesome.

Hi this is my first post but this thread got my attention as it brought back memories of going to my friends house as a kid and being wowed by the game North and South on the Amiga 500. I only had a C64 which kept me entertained but I always wanted (and never got) an Amiga 500!
Until 10 days ago, a PS2. Friends, cousins, they all had one and bragged about it... While I was and still are Nintendo guy, though we all know the Gamecube is what made our childhood a lot more happier lol.
Oh yeah, PS2 because of the Xenosaga trilogy and Final Fantasy XII, but I got them all a bit more than a week ago... Haven't played them at all, I'll do it after I finish with my backlog.
In the future it'll be a PS4 or Xbox One, and Final Fantasy XV will be the title to buy a console for.
Definitely the Sega Dreamcast u,u
I remember seeing Resident Evil Code Veronica in magazines and begging my father to buy one :P
I still doesn´t have it T-T
