Forums - Gaming - The Game & Console You Always Wanted But Never Had

I'll have to say the Game Boy Color with Pokemon Gold/Silver. Back at elementary, Pokemon was all the rage. While I got the Blue version as a birthday gift, everybody quickly transitioned to Gold and Silver. I watched everyone who played it, and I loved it. A kid even brought his Prima strategy guide for the game, and after watching everything innit, I loved it even more. Weirdly, the guy was so nice he gave me the guide, which I'm still thankful for.

PlayStation One for me. Make no mistake, I loved the N64. I'm glad it was my first console. That said, I remember playing Spyro at a friend's house and falling in love with it. Never did get to finish the game...

Hmm

Sega Game Gear, couldn't find one where I live that time.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

Dreamcast. Wanted to play the Sonic Adventures games when I was 10. Never did get to play them.

Sega Saturn. Such an odd console with such a quirky lineup of very unique games.

NiGHTS and/or Fighters Megamix as the game in particular.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Wii, GameCube, PS3, or 360. The latter you have to get them through the online stores, the former two through the gamecube remakes.

Nintendo GameCube. :/

My dad forced me to buy a PS2 because it had a DVD player. By that time (2001) I was like 7 years old, so I couldn't afford a new console; especially here, where a console used to be 1000 USD. =/

That is adorable! A seven year old kid playing PS2. I went to gaming at age 11, I had a generic NES (in Brazil there were dozens of Famiclones and the real thing was not sold in stores).

I remember those clones of the NES. :p Never had one, my first console was a SNES imported from the US.

But the good side of my dad forcing me to buy a PS2 is that I would never know PlayStation if it wasn't for this. Since then I bought every home console from Sony.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Uh..well the only answer I can give is the PS4 and TLOU I guess (although I do have a PS3). There were really only a few games I was ever interested in at a time throughout the years. Although 2015 has to be one of the rare few where I'm very interested in a handful of games.
