I always hope that any game I have no interest in fails miserably. I look at it strictly through the law of averages: the less people buy games I hate, the more they will buy games I like, thus increasing chances of more games I like and less games I don't like.

Bayo2 was outsold by Sonic Boom in the US, enough said.

Yeah, this would be nice. I have no problem with people discussing a game that's had a weak launch week/period, but many are way too quick to use that limited data to declare the game a permanent flop. Often these "flops" go on to pull in decent/good LT number.

This is the key point really. Not every game needs to sell millions to be a success; and the game is fine with me with sales which are alright to boot. 

I don't understand a lot of these comments, but let's try and keep things on topic now.

Attach rates for new games on old consoles gets more meaningless as the generation goes on as people buy 2nd or 3rd consoles if not covered under warrenty, slim versions. Etc. Unless you believe there were 80million PS3/360 users in 2013?

Much like the original Bayonetta, big legs or good sales will only be the result of major discounting. It's been 10 weeks since launch, I don't think it'll get much better without some help.

No. Sonic Boom sold half of what Bayo 2 did.
