Niche does not mean bad.

Did not understand, no one never saw it as a bad game, aside from Rol of course.

In their eyes. It's a very good game. My GOTY. Loved it.
We don't have a gripe with Bayonetta or its sales. More with over enthusiastic fans that predict way above reality.
The farther the sales are from their "projections" the more interesting it gets.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
If we get more fanbase-bashing out of here, the thread will be shut down.

That's in the US. Once again, your point is? This is a topic about why it's non-Nintendo fans bitching, not what the sales are. |
It's a sales site. People talk about sales here. FH2 received similar flack when it first launched. So did SO. So did LBP3. So did HW. These are examples from just the last couple of months. The difference though is that these titles have since gone on to generate relatively strong sales, while Bayonetta 2 hasn't. The revelation that its current sales (which many were already disappointed by) are actually over tracked, coupled with its controversial history, have naturally brought it back to being a central discussion point.
Can it be annoying? Yes. Is it avoidable? No. If you don't like people bitching at each other, you should be on a internet forum :p Least of all a gaming one.
Look at the bright side, this is all pretty tame compared to the slug fests that happened over TLOU:R and B2's initial reveal.

I guess by "them" you mean PS/XBox gamers? Well (I assume) most of those people who bought bayo 1 actually liked it so they want it on their preferred system. I myself really enjoyed Bayo1 (even on my PS3) and would probably purchase a sequel/spinoff if one was to release on PS4.

I agree with this. Though i do recommend people to relax with calling everything a flop from 1-4 weeks of sales. Most games dont sell millions in the first week and people who have been on VGC for a while should know this by now.
