Ford's new supercar looks sweet, but it would've been nice to see something of Forza 6 itself.

I dont mind actually if they want to have another Forza every month, but as a gamer i am care for new "worth and great new IP". at least they can give some gap if they want to make sequel.

I don't understand what the problem is, the Xbox One is getting new IPs in the near future as well as some reboots of beloved ones like Banjo, Phantom Dust and most recently Killer Instinct. Forza is not taking the spot or money from a different game. This team was hired to do one thing, bring a good racing sim to the Xbox 360/Xbox One. That is what they are doing. When it comes to new IPs, MS has other people on that.

There is no problem for the avid and  loyal fans, i just give some suggestion, that the fact their console " image" is turn into FPS console box and Forza series consoles. They can bring Forza games but at least they can wait , so people will not think the game is rushed like Forza 5.


But it's two different dev teams working on them from my understanding. One team makes Horizon and one makes Motorsport. That way both teams have about 2 years to make their next title.

But it's still "FORZA" i know it's different game, but we are discussing about the image of how often we hear Forza every year. at least they can change the tittle maybe ? like how Pollypony digital use " Touris Tropy "for their Motorcycle simulations games.

Yep, but Winter, Spring, Summer lineup is missing.  Are they starving us all year in order to make fall look good?

Not even remotely.  Microsoft has also done a fantastic job of introducing new AAA ip and arcade along with bringing staple franchises this generation.  Whether you want a fighting game Killer Instinct, an open world game like Sunset Overdrive or Crackdown, a shooter like Halo or titanfall, a cinematic experience like TOmb Raider, a JRPG like Phantom Dust, a Japanese game like Scalebound, a tps like Gears, a platformer such as Max, Ori, and possibly Banjo,  a sim racer like Forza Motorsport, or an arcade like Forza Horizon, a zombie game lik Dead Rising, a sim lik Zoo Tycoon, etc etc.  This list goes on.  One thing is for certain, MSFT has been bringing new IP, rebooting games, and building on staple franchises since XBO has came out.

And plenty of these games have and wil sell a million+.  That isnt being overshadowed, but do realize Forza is a staple franchise

Their image is become more like Call of Duty franchise, what ever game list you mentioned, it does not change the fact the "FORZA" terms is overuse annually that will ruined their image.

Ken Lobb, creative director of MS studios said recently that they have some announcments for Spring/Summer coming soon.

You do realize FH and FM is not the same game as well. Or are you one of those people that consider Halo Wars and Halo the same game and call it annual?  So let me ask, do you even play Forza games?

That seems to be true for most people posting here. And if you haven't played a Forza over the last 8 years, chances are you're not the target demographic for the game. So why are you posting in a thread about it?

This thread is full of poeple bleating about a game announcement... what the hell is going on when gamers complain about games coming.

I'm curious how many of those complaining about another Forza even have an xbox?

Every two years is fine, perfectly fine.

Well 2 years it's fine, but under the same name it's like an anuall game release.

Gears, banjo are rumored as well. I wouldn't be surprised if gears (collection) was a summer title.

then fable will probably be summer, Ori and screamride (both new ip owned by Microsoft btw) are Q1 already.

there are games all year, not even going into third party stuff of course, either way, 2015 isn't 2014 in terms of everything on fall (besides tittanfall). And next year is already teased to get big games early, stuff like phantom dust or scalebound for example.
