Not even remotely.  Microsoft has also done a fantastic job of introducing new AAA ip and arcade along with bringing staple franchises this generation.  Whether you want a fighting game Killer Instinct, an open world game like Sunset Overdrive or Crackdown, a shooter like Halo or titanfall, a cinematic experience like TOmb Raider, a JRPG like Phantom Dust, a Japanese game like Scalebound, a tps like Gears, a platformer such as Max, Ori, and possibly Banjo,  a sim racer like Forza Motorsport, or an arcade like Forza Horizon, a zombie game lik Dead Rising, a sim lik Zoo Tycoon, etc etc.  This list goes on.  One thing is for certain, MSFT has been bringing new IP, rebooting games, and building on staple franchises since XBO has came out.

Their image is become more like Call of Duty franchise, what ever game list you mentioned, it does not change the fact the "FORZA" terms is overuse annually that will ruined their image.

People see what they want to see... I can see that all PS4 has got since launch are indy games, another Killzone, two Infamous in the same year and a remaster. I can see that all WiiU has are kiddy games and Mario games. Does it mean I'm right and everybody should follow me? The image of Xbox only having shooters and Forza is sprouted by those who only want to see it this way.

This thread is full of poeple bleating about a game announcement... what the hell is going on when gamers complain about games coming.

But they still want people to buy and play Forza Horizon 2 and that game has at least two more car packs coming out and probably another expansion pack.  So I'm fine with them not showing more and I wouldn't expect any more info anytime soon.  The next logical date to reveal more info is on May 3rd which is the 10th anniversary of the franchise but they might release some more info before that.  My guess is that it all depends on how much more DLC Horizon 2 gets besides the Feburary and March car pack.

Nope, I don't want to turn it into the Crew.  Just add a lot more content this is the easiest way to keep people playing for a long time plus make the career mode longer for people like me that perfer to do most of their racing offline.  Also they probably should add more online events which is another easy way to keep up interest in the game.

People want to see that every Forza iterations are of poor quality due to short dev time but every games are great. Every new Forza has something new, more tracks, more cars, new paint system, more customization etc. On what basis would Forza games be of less quality exactly?

That seems to be true for most people posting here. And if you haven't played a Forza over the last 8 years, chances are you're not the target demographic for the game. So why are you posting in a thread about it?

Anyway, I'm sharing my view from a standpoint of a uninformed consumer (atleast when it comes to Forza) 

It feels like a literal Forza flood, on Xbox One right now.

Not knocking the game, not saying it shouldnt be released, just saying announcing it so soon after Forza Horizon is weird

They introduced a inferor game to its predecessor, thats quite new as Forzas were slowly getting better.

Forza 4 500 cars 26 tracks - Forza 5 200 cars 14 tracks.  Something new like $50 car pass for a game with limited content already and much locked away behind a pay wall on day freaking one.

I get peopel want to defend their game for reason we all know many have be it misguied loyalty or maybe hopefully some just like the game for what it is.  But cut the defence force thing people, F5 had glaring issues that it should be hammered for much to do with it short development cycle.  Its lack of content and dlc schemes were disgusting and shamefull, the epitomy of whats wrong with this industry.
