Not even remotely. Microsoft has also done a fantastic job of introducing new AAA ip and arcade along with bringing staple franchises this generation. Whether you want a fighting game Killer Instinct, an open world game like Sunset Overdrive or Crackdown, a shooter like Halo or titanfall, a cinematic experience like TOmb Raider, a JRPG like Phantom Dust, a Japanese game like Scalebound, a tps like Gears, a platformer such as Max, Ori, and possibly Banjo, a sim racer like Forza Motorsport, or an arcade like Forza Horizon, a zombie game lik Dead Rising, a sim lik Zoo Tycoon, etc etc. This list goes on. One thing is for certain, MSFT has been bringing new IP, rebooting games, and building on staple franchises since XBO has came out.
And plenty of these games have and wil sell a million+. That isnt being overshadowed, but do realize Forza is a staple franchise

Their image is become more like Call of Duty franchise, what ever game list you mentioned, it does not change the fact the "FORZA" terms is overuse annually that will ruined their image.

People see what they want to see... I can see that all PS4 has got since launch are indy games, another Killzone, two Infamous in the same year and a remaster. I can see that all WiiU has are kiddy games and Mario games. Does it mean I'm right and everybody should follow me? The image of Xbox only having shooters and Forza is sprouted by those who only want to see it this way.
