Forums - Nintendo - Star Fox is going to be playable at E3 YES!

I love your enthusiasm, but I don't wanna get my hopes up too much just yet until they show off the game a little more. Since Miyamoto is involved I'm much more confident, but I suppose after Assault and Command I just default to skepticism. Eager to see the new build at E3 though, should be exciting!

Dude...as far as exclusives are concerned in my book if Star Fox is a hit along with Zelda, Nintendo will most likely become my main console for the beginning of the gen for exclusives. I am a huge Starfox SNES and Star Fox 64 fan. I loved every second of epic piloting action. No other flight game has ever made my hair stand on end during a mission.

Count me in the cautiously optimistic camp.

Its what the fans want...

And after a few games of the same thing, the fans are going to ask for Nintendo to do something new with the franchise. I'm not saying that they should go off as far as Adventures did, but to add some variety besides making it a 100% rail shooter.

That's definitely a good thing.. Hopefully it will turn out well, or at least better than the last couple of SF games!

Star Fox adventures was a last minute reskin job. It wasnt a real SF game. It was like what Nintendo did with Hyrule Warriors. It was just a filler. It was all Miyamoto's idea. The Adventures game was meant to be a new IP, but Miyamoto wouldn't let it happen.

I wouldnt mind a blend of space dogfights mixed with tps action involving the whole team. That would be so sick!

As long as they pull it off better than they did with Assault

Also, Falco better be in it or I'm a be mad...

Does that mean Nintendo will actually be at E3 this year? Haven't they been doing their own Nintendo Direct for the past couple of years?

If Nintendo keeps putting out games the way they are they can keep Nintendo Direct.

Miyamoto's involvement is actually what has me worried most after what happened Sticker Star. I mean they already said something about gyro controls and the gamepad screen being the primary screen, so I'm really skeptical.
