So it's Nintendo VS Sony basically?, I'd probably go with Fox since he's been out way before Ratchet and gave me great memories.

star fox hasn't been relevant since the snes (and even then slippy was way more awesome) and hasn't have a game worth playing since 1997.
ratchet meanwhile has had 7 great games (vs 2) the most recent of which was only 2 years ago. ratchet has way more personality. ..and quite frankly waaaay better gameplay.
fox got his ass kicked on this one.
As we now have a zoophilia thread (lol), the real question would be "Which would you bang ?"
OT : In terms of character design, even though I really like Ratchet, Fox is better IMO.

Ratchet definitely. I dont think the Fox character is good at all actually.

Samus owns both as space hero.
Looking at them as characters, I would choose Ratchet.
Who's a better space hero? I'd say Fox.
Who's better than either of them? Samus.
Picked Fox as I'm more familiar with him. Playing through Ratchet & Clank for the first time though and he's starting to grow on me, so my opinion may be different after I beat the game :P
