Miyamoto needs to retire before he damages the great franchises he built in his prime.
Better to part on good terms than let his career die a slow and undignified death.

But, why do you say this? He's still doing ok, well, aside from that Sticker Star; but still.

Starfox's controls worry me deeply. It sounds like he's just used the franchise for window dressing to sell Nintendoland 2.

Good god, not you as well.

Can we at least wait for some damn footage or a preview before whining about it?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Around the Network

Well at least Nintendo still acknowledges it's existence

I can only hope.

Well let me give you a list of some 1st/2nd party games  that support the Wii U Pro Controller

Hyrule Warriors
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze
Sonic Boom
Bayonetta 1/2
Mario Kart 8
Wonderful 101
Wind Waker HD
Super Smash Bros Wii U
Super Mario 3D World
Sonic Lost World
Pikmin 3
NES Remix 1/2
NSMBU/NSLU

Two of those games Miyamoto has worked on and Star Fox 3D has optional gyro controls

Now I do know that there are some section in W101 that are a pain without the gamepad, but they don't weigh the entire game down. I don't know if this is also true for some of the other games I have listed  however, it's very clear that Nintendo is giving options to their  players and are not forcing them to play solely with the gamepad. If you still believe that Miyamoto is going to chain you to the gamepad, then I don't know what more I can say to you.

But lets make this interesting. I bet that the next Star-Fox and F-Zero will be playable with a Pro Controller. Winner gets 3 months of  avatar control. You up for it ?

Tempting, but reviewing that list and my own collection, I'm not confident enough to make that bet, which conversely relieves me a  little.
