It's a new IP and it looks amazing. I don't have unreal expectations but I will be supporting this new IP. I can tell that a hell of a lot of effort went into it and they will be rewarded with my purchase. I like what I have seen so far an I will be supporting new games.

I want it to have a good story, tense moments and next gen visuals. I don't want it to be Halo or COD or Gears.

This game is going to be great for what it is. I am confident in that much and it has earned my purchase. I am also sending the message that I want, and am ready to support,  new IP

I am pretty sure I will enjoy it. I don't think it will revolutionize anything (might push story-driven/single player games back into mainstream) and most people know what they are getting. It's not going for a second coming of jesus like Destiny was and I hope critics will be reasonable for what the game has to offer.

It will come down to story and its pacing, gameplay and how fresh/repetitive it may be and length. I have high hopes it will stay above 80 metacritic, which is similar to InFamous SS, which is a great score in my eyes and NOTHING to be ashamed or feel sorry for.

Should be a great TPS cinematic game. Kind of a mix of Heavy Rain and Uncharted, 2 of my favorite games from last gen. Couple that with breathtaking visuals, a great interesting story (hopefully well told and everything I've seen suggests that it will be) , and LOW expectations and you've got yourself the recipe for an 77-83 rated game (just because reviewers are harsh this gen with anything that's not a remaster)

Yeah I think it can get high 70's on metacritic which is good.

It will surprise open minded people but those that have already made their minds up will ignore anything that doesn't feed their agenda.

so open minded people will like it but those who think it looks bad must have an agenda? sounds like you have an "agenda" of your own there.

There's a difference between taste and having an agenda. This game can still surprise people but not be liked by them. Regardless of whether the game surprises people and actually plays brilliantly, those with an agenda will simply boil the game down into simple terms just like they did with TLOU. I suppose 'ignorance' would have been a better choice of word. I might hate the game myself but that's BECAUSE I'm open minded not because I've already had my mind made up.

Which is why we know ther media has an agenda.  The only game you are told directly not to preorder, after giving a great review to The Crew, not mentioning Halo's network errors, and a decent review for Assasin Creed reviews.  If that doesn't scream agenda, what does?

Gameplay looks fine, the only thing they need to perfect is story, if they can do that they can easily get 9's
