The other day I saw a guy, he was exactly what I described in the OP.

Me, no. I don't fall under those stereotypes. Not overweight. I'm 6'4". I dress fine. Not in any of that nerdy crap. I have a life outside of gaming. I don't own any video game shirt.

Well I have no fashion sense =P I often wear sports clothing
But Im definitely not overweight and ugly etc.
I grew up playing sport every day at school and multiple days of the week after school and on weekends. Not exactly the gamer stereotype.
So yeah defintiely parts of me that fit it but then theres the other side of me that is the complete opposite.

i do wear glasses... maybe a bit geeky... started my undergrad at 16... got a scholarship for my undergrad and grad school...

i give a lot of video game reference in the "real" world and the awkward silence when nobody gets it...

Stereotypical gamer for me does not fit any of the criteria that you mentioned Seece. To me the stereotypical gamer is a bro. Things have certainly changed. I do feel like this thread was just designed to highlight certain qualities that you are not, by the way.

Unless people know me as a personal friend, they would never know I am a hardcore gamer and always have been since the NES era. Not going to go into detail, but a good friend of mine commonly refers to me as "a muscular nerd". Hell I was even MVP on my high school football team.

So no, I don't meat the stereotypes at all, especially for how much I game.
